Life Long Learning, Istanbul

Media Project, namely “Lifelong Learning for Digital Inclusion through Media
Literacy”, funded within Civil Society Dialogue Programme in partnership with
YOUTHART from Turkey, Youth4Media from Germany and MediaTerraNea from Greece,
gathered 20 participants for a 6-day international training course on the theme
of “life long learning”.
“Dione”
local development centre, established in Ancient Olympia, Greece, was
represented at this training course that took place on 04-10 April 2017 in
Istanbul, by the Erasmus Intern from Hungary Norbert Tóth (University of
Debrecen, Faculty: Business and administration/rural development, agricultural
engineering).
“Lifelong
Learning for Digital Inclusion through Media Literacy” (Learning Media) is a
long-term project, aiming to develop media literacy skills of disadvantaged
young people, through lifelong learning activities; and thus to increase the
potential of being employed of this specific target group, and eventually
enriching dialogue among different segments of societies by creating a
Multimedia Learning Platform, realizing a series of international conferences,
media trainings, local community workshops, and producing videos, booklets and
newsletters on the themes of Civil Society Dialogue, Media Literacy,
Digital Inclusion, and Lifelong Learning for a duration of 15 months from
February 2016 to May 2017.
